      What’s NewSingle Sign-On (SSO) 🔐Enterprise Plan 🏢For Self-Hosted SetupsThat's it

We're excited to introduce Single Sign-On (SSO) along with a brand new Enterprise plan in CourseLit v0.70.0. These updates are designed to meet the growing needs of teams and organizations looking for better security, scalability, and control.

    What’s New

    1. 🔐 Single Sign-On (SSO) — simplify authentication with enterprise-grade login via a single identity provider.

    2. 🏢 Enterprise Plan — a new billing tier built for organizations, now housing SSO and API access.

    Single Sign-On (SSO) 🔐

SSO has been one of our most requested features, and we’re happy to finally ship it. With SSO, organizations can authenticate users using an external identity provider, like Okta, OneLogin etc., reducing friction and improving security.

Currently, CourseLit supports adding one SSO provider at a time. This feature is included as part of the new Enterprise plan. For self-hosted instances, SSO is already unlocked by default.

    Why it matters

    - Streamlined login experience for teams

    - Improved security through centralized identity management

    Enterprise Plan 🏢

We’re introducing the Enterprise plan to better serve organizations with advanced needs. This plan now includes SSO and API access. API access was previously available under the Pro plan and has now been moved to Enterprise.

Over time, we’ll continue adding more enterprise-focused capabilities such as audit logs and other compliance-related features. As always, for self-hosted instances, all Enterprise features remain fully unlocked.

    Why it matters

    - Clear separation of advanced organizational features

    - A foundation for upcoming enterprise-grade capabilities

    - Continued flexibility for self-hosted users

    For Self-Hosted Setups

These features are included in v0.70.0.

For the new features to work correctly, apply the following migration to your database:

    - 13-12-25_23-07-init-login-settings.js

For instructions on applying migrations, see here.
