      What's NewCourse Discussions 💬For Self-Hosted SetupsThat's it

We're excited to introduce one of the most requested CourseLit features: Course Discussions. You can now turn every lesson into a collaborative learning space where learners ask questions, share ideas, and help each other—all without leaving your course.

    What's New

    1. 💬 Course Discussions — Enable discussions on your courses and let learners comment and reply on lesson pages.

    Course Discussions 💬

Course discussions can now be enabled for your courses. Once enabled, every lesson gets its own discussion thread where learners can leave comments and reply to existing conversations.

This makes it easier for instructors to answer questions, encourage engagement, and build a stronger learning community around their content.

    Why it matters

    - Keep conversations organized around individual lessons

    - Increase learner engagement and participation

    - Help learners learn collaboratively through discussions

    - Reduce friction by keeping discussions inside your course

    For Self-Hosted Setups

This feature is included in v0.74.0.

To enable this feature correctly, apply the following migration to your database:

    - 21-06-26_12-30-seed-product-discussion-notification-preferences.js

For instructions on applying migrations, see here.
